The Hartley Wintney Neighbourhood Plan (2019) seeks to address the housing needs identified within the parish as a result of the consultation process, whilst ensuring that development does not have an unacceptable impact on the local infrastructure.

A key aim for Housing within the HW Neighbourhood plan is to provide a range of high qulaity and affordable homes that meet the need of local people and encourages the proivision of a rural exception site.*

Hartley Wintney Parish Council have been in discussions with Hart District Council, Hampshire Homes Hub (part of Action Hampshire) and Hastoe Housing Association regarding the possibility of an affordable housing development within Hartley Wintney.

The development, situated on Hares Lane, would provide 14 affordable homes (11 for rent and 3 for shared ownership) which would be available to people with a local connection to Hartley Wintney in perpetuity, plus 3 self build homes.  Hastoe Housing Association recently held a Pre-App meeting with Hart District Council.
