Hampshire Highways have informed us of the following planned work on the M3 this October.

M3 junction 4a – Minley Road bridge inspection (rescheduled), 3rd to 7th October 2022

As we were unable to carry out planned inspection and survey work on the Minley Road bridge in August earlier this year, we’ll now be doing it between Monday 3rd and Friday 7th October 2022.

We’ll need to close the M3 southbound on weeknights between 9pm and 6am from junction 4 for Frimley to 4a for Fleet. All lanes will reopen as normal from the morning of Saturday 8th October 2022.

A signed diversion will be in place via A331, A30 London Road and A327 and offers the best alternative route.

M3 junction 5 – A287 bridge repairs, 10 October to 12 December 2022

We’ll also be carrying out overnight repairs to the road bridges over the M3 at junction 5 for Hook. We’ll need to close some lanes and parts of the hard shoulder in both directions and at different times from Monday 10th October to Monday 12th December 2022.

Drivers will still be able to leave and join the M3 at the junction without the need for a diversion. There will be some lane closures on the A287 roundabout itself.  All drivers should plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
