CHRISTMAS MARKET 2023 STALLHOLDER APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
The main Jubilee Fields playground is a facility that is well used by local families. It was originally installed over 15 years ago with the separate ‘skate/surf’ area installed 11 years ago. Many pieces of equipment are now showing signs of significant wear and tear.
Hartley Wintney Parish Council are proposing to remove both play areas and install a new, accessible playground catering for all ages.
We are aiming to relocate the new play area away from the road and trees, which have rendered the current site unsafe due to the breaking through of the large tree roots within the play equipment boundary. It will also move the area closer to the football pitches which will support the plans of 3G pitches and general sports in this area.
The Parish Council have worked with a playground consultant who has produced an outline proposal with more information about the project. Before we invite companies to design the play area, we are conducting a public consultation to collect views from the local community. This will help us find out how you and your children use the play area and help guide what equipment is needed.
Please fill in the online survey to share your views with us. It should only take 5 minutes to complete. If you require a hard copy of the survey, please contact the Parish Office.
