Hartley Wintney Housing Needs Survey

Hartley Wintney Parish Council, Hart District Council and Hastoe Housing Association have commissioned Hampshire Homes Hub to carry out an independent housing needs survey in the Parish. The purpose of the survey is to obtain information from households in Hartley Wintney about their current and future need for all types of housing, whether it be for first time buyers, renters, upsizers, downsizers or affordable housing.

This information will help the Parish Council in its forthcoming review of the Hartley Wintney Neighbourhood Plan. It will also provide important information for Hart District Council on the affordable housing needs required in Hartley Wintney.

We are keen to hear from all Hartley Wintney households, as well as those who work in the Parish. We want to obtain your views on housing needed in the Parish and understand if further housing may be required both now and in the future by you, or other members of your family/household. We are also keen to understand if there are households with a local connection to the Parish (for example adult children of Hartley Wintney residents) who wish to return to Hartley Wintney.

The information that you provide will remain confidential. The information obtained will only be used to produce a report for the Parish Council and stakeholders for the purposes of the Neighbourhood Plan Review and the requirement within the Parish for Affordable Housing. The data obtained will be anonymised and will only be shown in summary or generalised statistical form.

Confidentiality and Data Protection- In accordance with the information we provide to survey respondents regarding confidentiality, the raw survey data collected will not be shared with any other party (including those commissioning the survey) and will only be provided in a generalised statistical form through the survey report.
