Contact Magazine

Contact is the Parish Magazine for the group of parishes which includes Hartley Wintney, Elvetham, Winchfield and Dogmersfield. It has existed in its present form for over 30 years when it was relaunched as a free magazine for all.  Production costs are covered through the support of many local businesses who advertise in the magazine.

In addition to information and articles about the churches, Contact includes details of the many events and activities organized by other groups in the villages. These include the Victoria Hall, the Rotary Club, the Over 55s Forum, Hartley Arts Group, Neighbourhood Watch and many others.  A regular feature is an interview with a local character who has contributed to village life in some interesting way. Readers of Contact report that they value having a physical item to read which can also act as a reference document for events and advertisers.

Contact is delivered each month to every home in the parishes by a dedicated team of over 100 volunteers.  For those who live outside the parishes copies are available from St John’s Church Centre or from Tesco in the Hartley Wintney High Street.
