In light of the suspension of the No.7 Reading Buses services between Hartley Wintney and Fleet, Hartley Wintney Parish Council have been in discussions with Hart County Council regarding how we can support with providing public transport to those in need.
There is a No7 Stagecoach service which runs from Phoenix Green to Aldershot, via Elvetham Heath and Fleet. This is a daily service with one round trip in the morning, departing at 10.23am and a one way trip to Aldershot departing at 12.43pm. The Stagecoach timetable is available to view here. It is believed that Hartley Wintney residents would have previously used the now suspended No.7 Tiger bus to return to the village in the afternoons.
Now that the No7 Tiger bus is not available for the return trip in the afternoon, the HWPC Community Bus will operate a one-way service departing Fleet High Street at 2.45pm, finishing at Phoenix Green. This service will run on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the charge as per the Stagecoach rate of £3.50 per adult passenger. We will also accept bus passes.
